David Eichholtz and Richard Barger, gallery business partners, are pleased to announce the grand opening of David Richard Gallery, LLC in the Santa Fe Railyard Arts District on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

The gallery opening will feature two exhibitions. The first, Color Affect, is a solo exhibition of paintings by Robert Swain in the atrium gallery. The second is a group exhibition, Seeing Red, presented in the perimeter gallery and mezzanine spaces that features the color red in a selection of artwork by guest and gallery artists Philip Baldwin & Monica Guggisberg, Laura de Santillana, Gabriele Evertz, Richard Faralla, Beverly Fishman, Harmony Hammond, Maxwell Hendler, Tom Holland, Tim Jag, Matsumi Kanemitsu, Tom Martinelli, Scott Malbaurn, Robert Motherwell, Julian Stanczak, Yozo Suzuki, Robert Swain, Leo Valledor and Toots Zynsky.

David Richard Gallery, LLC in the Railyard Arts District, specializes in post-war contemporary abstract art and features both historic and contemporary geometric, Op, Pop, Color Field, Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism and Feminist art in a variety of media. The gallery represents established mid to late-career artists who were part of important art historical movements during the 1950s through 1980s. The gallery also represents artist estates, emerging artists and offers secondary market works.

Eichholtz and Barger will continue to program exhibitions at David Richard Contemporary, LLC, the gallery located at 130 Lincoln Ave, Suite D, Santa Fe, NM 87501, downtown north of the historic Plaza. The gallery also specializes in post-war contemporary abstract art and predominantly features both historic and contemporary Abstract Expressionism, gestural abstraction, Color Field and a selection of geometric abstraction in a variety of media. The gallery represents established mid to late-career artists with an emphasis on artists now living and working in New Mexico, Taos Moderns and prominent international glass artists. The gallery also represents artist estates, emerging artists and offers secondary market works.
